So I have a rule...........

not to buy anymore wool until I have finished with the previous lot...........................

but what are you supposed to do if Monster Knits stock in the meantime?

On the needles I have a beautiful sage cotton being knitted into a seamless kimono- half finished.

I bought the teak coloured wool as I need to knit more longies, as I have only one pair for Tigger........

but suddenly Monster Knits stocked & I happened to be passing by. I cannot hide the parcels from Greg as he does the PO run. Poor boy didn't even blink when there was 4 parcels for me today!

Oh my goodness............

Are these not the most beautiful nappies ever?

I sent the fabrics to Nic, the talented creator of Peep-O Modern Cloth Nappies.

They are size small, 3 nappies ineach fabric. Still to come are matching Pul covers made by Bec from ZigZag wraps.

Quick projects

Whilst waiting for my new wool to arrive I finished these 2 little projects.

First was to knit a matching beanie for the longies that I made.

I then added embellishments to both to finish them off.

The Jolly Jumbuck longies are going to a new home :(

Hubby thought that they were a bit hippie, lol. Anyway a girlfriend just had a little bub last week, she uses Modern Cloth Nappies but hasn't discovered woolies yet, so they will be perfect!
Oh and Happy Australia Day!

Longies- Jolly Jumbuck Splish Splash on Maia......

This wool is so beautiful & soft, but heaps harder to knit with & seems to pill easily.

It doesn't matter though because look how gorgeous they look!!!!!!

Finished!!!!!!

My first ever knitting project using a pattern.

It was really easy but sometimes fiddly.

I am so proud that I cannot stop looking at them.

Oh by the way they are longies for Tigger to wear over his cloth nappies.
