Jesse means 'God's gift'
From my Nan, we received a naming plaque with the meaning of the name 'Jesse'.
It means alot to us that she found this gift & sent it to us so quickly after his birth.
It says:
Jesse means God's gift and is of Hebrew origin.
Jesse is astute and shrewd.
